I live in a historic 1891 building in Michigan, where I write, collect, and restore both my surroundings and myself. I am also the founder of Atelier 1891, a leather goods studio I built with my late husband; work that continues to carry his presence forward.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BOOK REVIEW | The Book of Witching by C.J. Cooke Just started The Book of Witching by C.J. Cooke and I already have a feeling this one is going to consume my entire day ✨📖 I went into The Hacienda expecting a 3-star read and somehow ended up finishing it wondering why on earth I waited so long to pick it up. A month full of paint projects, old house progress, practical finds, cozy reads, and a few purchases that made everyday life better. This story… this part of my life… took me a full year to write. Still working on the moody details of this room. The trim beneath the window getting the love it deserves and additional layers of paint are going up.
